Hostess/To-Go at I currently work at Fezzo's in Broussard, Louisiana. I do a multitude of tasks. I remained as a hostess for almost a year. This meant I greeted guest upon arrival, bring them to their table, and keep track of reservations/parties. Just recently, I have moved into our To-Go area. Now I work with money, orders over the phone, and to-go food.

Honors Award
This is an award given to all students that maintain a 3.5+ GPA. I have received this award every year so far in my high school career (3 years).
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to become a veterinarian. It may sound cliche, but I have always loved animals. My fixation as a child was always horses. By the age of nine I was able to convince my parents to let me ride. The following 6 years included me riding English every week! Now, my passion has grown, even though I do not ride anymore. I find myself leaning more towards bigger animals (such as equine), but I would not be opposed to doing both small and large.
- Graduate school interests
I would love to go to out of state for my graduate school. It is well known that veterinarian school is extremely competitive. The few that have caught my eye the most out of state are Colorado State University and Michigan State University. If I were able to stay home, I would intend to stay at Louisiana State University and attend their very own vet school.
- Outside the classroom
Although I am always willing to try new things, reading books has always been something I have stuck to. In my free time, I always find myself reaching for something to read, whether it be a short story or a longer series. Another hobby of mine, one I've been in since the 5th grade is band. I play the clarinet! As I entered high school, I joined the marching band. It has been a joy participating in and I will miss it.

Hostess/Server/Cashier
For a couple of years, I worked at Ton's in Broussard, Louisiana. I worked front of house pretty much every day. I would take orders, serve food, clean tables, and work our drive thru. On occasion, I would work our frying station.

Volunteering
-
Acadiana Animal Aid is an animal shelter located in Crowley, Louisiana. I volunteer through them at a PetSmart near me. Every Sunday morning, I clean the cat cages. This would include wiping down the cage, refilling water/food, refreshing the blankets/beds, and cleaning out the litter box.
