Denizha Ray

Hi! I’m De'Nizha, an Elementary Education major from Nashville, Tennessee. I come from a big family—right in the middle of five siblings—and was raised in a humble, hardworking home that taught me to appreciate every opportunity I’ve been given.

My college journey has been full of surprises—from volunteering in local schools to stepping into leadership roles through Army ROTC, where I’ve grown more than I ever expected. I’m passionate about education, leadership, and finding ways to give back.

When I’m not in uniform or in the classroom, you’ll usually find me surrounded by animals—especially reptiles (I’ve always had a soft spot for them!). I also have a love for all things neutral-toned and cozy. Whether I’m organizing events, helping others, or just reading to kids, I always try to lead with heart, gratitude, and a grounded perspective.
