About
I am a Research Biologist with several years of laboratory research and Molecular diagnostics. I am accomplished in critical thinking experimental designs as well as designing and implementing new protocols and technologies in the lab. I am currently a DrPH student who is pursuing a career in Epidemiology. My main goals are to focus on Public Health agendas involving diagnostic laboratory development in non-westernized countries, as well as monitoring new and emerging infectious diseases.

- Career goal
I am currently a International QA/QC Laboratory Coordinator working at Johns Hopkins University with the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN). The field combines my molecular biotechnology background with my current epidemiology and public health doctoral work.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently interested in developing novel laboratory procedures in countries with poor health infrastructure. As part of my dissertation, I am hoping to develop a plan to approach some of the wide spread educational and economic disparities found in developing countries.
