Denvol Haye

I am currently a junior at Oswego State University where I will be receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration in May of 2015.

I currently intern in the Public Relations department at 247Laundry Service. Here I am developing my skills working in a fast-paced multi-faceted environment working with my supervisor on multiple accounts. My duties include client research, scanning the media, and developing and pitching tactics for campaigns. Laundry Service has given me insight into the agency side of Public Relations and has strengthened my creativity through client diversity.

Prior to that I intern in the publicity and marketing department at Safe Haven Museum and Education Center. My duties included preparing media lists of contacts in order to raise awareness about the museum. I also assisted in planning the museum’s 70th annual reunion. This required me to contact local businesses for sponsorship and raise awareness of the event via social media. I have always had a passion for marketing and image management.

I interned in the Public Relations department learning how to build a company’s image from scratch. Wrevel was a new company at the time and it was my duty to build a favorable public image for the company and raise awareness about Wrevel. By contacting various print publications I got Wrevel its first article in the paper in which I acted as the company spokesman. I also worked with the production team to create viral videos online to promote Wrevel.
