Derek Holbrook

Hello!
My name is Derek Holbrook. I live in beautiful Colorado. I am currently attending Colorado Christian University (CCU). While attending college I work full time as a Care Coordinator, helping those who are either homeless or in poverty, get the care they need and deserve. On top of going to school full time and working full time I am reaching End Stage Renal Failure (ESRD). I am currently working on setting up for a kidney transplant at University of Colorado. I am very please and proud of myself to be in the honor society as I have worked very hard to achieve this goal. My goal after I graduate is to work in the Criminal Justice field, I would like to start my career as a police officer. Even with my chronic illness I will let nothing get in my way in achieving my dream.
