About
One major obstacle in pursuing my college education is money. My financial status is not great for my family and I. Lately, I have been thinking about college and how I am going to pay for it. I am willing to work hard to better my education, but can’t do it alone. I am depending on scholarships and grants to help out for my remaining college years. My family and I are in financial need, especially now that I am a full time college student. My mother is a single parent and she cannot help me pay for college and still provide for my younger sister, so it is up to me to work hard to better my future. My father is not in my life and we barley speak over the phone. He supports my college decision but, will not help my financial needs for college. I truly believe that hard work, pays off and I believe this because I am willing to work and strive for the best.
In order to overcome my draw back, I will fill out scholarships to help pay for my schooling. Having the honor to receive a scholarship to benefit my greater education is very self striving. Scholarships will allow me to keep attending my dream university, fighting for my degree in Business Management and Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I have to rely on my ambition to succeed in life. Ambition is having the determination to work hard for what is wanted, and or needed. I am willing to work hard for my college diploma and receiving scholarships to attend this university will help me reach my goal. I am willing to fight till the finish. My mother has always said “Never give up, be the person to finish, not to incomplete.” That saying has set my mind to have many advantages in life today. Now that I attend college, I will give my all to receive and maintain a great grade point average. My ambition will be a major strength for my own benefit in college.
