About
Hi! I am Desirea Studer and have always gone by the nickname "Nikki". I am 33 years old, am about to graduate from MCC, a local community college here in Texas, with a FOSC in Social Work as well as my Associates in Social Work and have been inducted to Phi Theta Kappa as well as this Honor's Society. I plan to go to University of Texas at Arlington and continue to get my Bachelor's in Social Work and continue to with my Master's in Social Work as well. My ultimate goal is to work with Child Protective Services and possibly counsel as well. There are a few other places I've learned about through obtaining my associates that I would enjoy working at as well, NAMI - a mental health institute, or something like Unbound - an organization that supports survivors and teaches communities to fight human trafficking. I am a wife, and mother of an almost two-year-old little boy. I spend my time working at my husband's restaurant, raising my son and learning everything I can to be able to help others one day.

Anything outdoors is my hobby. Being outside in the heat, at the river, looking for fossils, kayaking, fishing, anything is my favorite. Reading, I love to read. I have recently gotten into audible books because I don't have a ton of time to just sit and read, so being able to listen while doing things seems to work better for me as a mother. Learning, I love to learn new things, which is probably why nonfiction books are my favorite.
