About
I am currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Edmonds College, but would still transfer to a four year degree university to continue my major. In my current academic journey, I have maintained very strong grades and developed certain skills. I got better in writing and understanding complex articles, from my English classes. I have developed social skills from my communication class. I developed critical thinking, from my Mathematics classes. I even got to learn more about our human society from my Sociology class. Most of the classes I have taken so far are not core engineering classes, because I am still in my first year. I have gained so much knowledge already and I am really enthusiastic about the Engineering major I am pursuing. I have been involved in events at Edmonds College and two service learning activities which has made me develop some skills. In the service learning activities, I helped plant potatoes at the Edmonds College school farm and I helped move salmon from the Edmonds salmon hatchery to Wallace Swamp Creek Park as a volunteer for a salmon release event. I have received two honor roll letters from Edmonds College Vice President and an invitation to join Phi Theta Kappa honor society because of my excellent grades. My goal is to continue to build my knowledge and make a significant impact in the STEM field.
