Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have two goals in life that I want to achieve. I want multiple PhDs and I want to go to med school. My GPA was too low for me to apply to medical school but I took a biotech seminar that showed me the biotech world and how medication is made and sold. It intrigued me. I want to be open to options like working at a biotechnology company. I want to volunteer as a doctor, not just get paid for my job. I did an internship at Arizona State University about HIV. I felt like working in Africa had always been my calling. HIV medication is expensive, the stigma for HIV needs to be broken, my internship was just a small step for me to see what I have to do. With this degree I will be able to open so many doors for me. I will be able to apply to medical school and work at a biotech company to get the funding to start visiting Tanzania to start working on HIV awareness and learn how to build projects through a means to supply free medication to people in Tanzania. My goal is to eradicate HIV from the face of the Earth.
- Graduate school interests
I am a student at Grand Canyon University pursuing Master's in Forensic Science. The program has a total of 10 classes. I will take one class at a time. The duration for one class is two months. I will be done with my Masters in the Spring of 2024.

Research Volunteer Conducting experiments using classical conditioning and differential conditioning on ants to test if ants can be trained to discriminate between odors-hydrocarbons. Ants are Eusocial, one of the members of the colony is reproductive-the queen. The queen is protected by the workers. This research was inspired by the Classical Conditioning experiment by Ivan Pavlov. He noticed that his dog started salivating at the noises of the food cart, it started salivating at the consistent noises even before it was fed. So he ended up testing his hypothesis. The variables were as follows, Conditioned Stimulus, Unconditioned Stimulus, Neutral Stimulus, Conditioned response, and Unconditioned response. Pavlov experimented using classical conditioning to condition his dog to salivate to the sound of a bell. The neutral stimulus was the ringing bell, the unconditioned stimulus was the food, the conditioned stimulus was the bell ringing, the conditioned response was salivating to the sound of the ringing bell, and the unconditioned response was salivating to food. The experiment was to observe the behavior of the dog to see if it was able to associate a neutral stimulus to a conditioned response, to test if animals can be classically conditioned to a certain stimulus. The behavior of ants was looked at to see if they could be classically conditioned similar to the dog in Pavlov’s experiment. The separated members were starved for 2 days and only given water. Two hydrocarbon odors were given to the ants; one was given with water and the other with sugar. The water was the neutral stimulus and the hydrocarbons were the conditioned stimulus, and the sugar was the unconditioned stimulus. Associative learning was tested in ants. The question that was tested was, would we be able to train the ants to discriminate between the two hydrocarbons by providing one of the hydrocarbons with a sugar reward?
