About
Hello! My name is Diana. Currently I am a student at CSN. This is just the first step in my educational career. Next, I want to pursue a degree in Neuroscience and become a successful person who can contribute to society both by giving away my time, and knowledge.

Honors and awards

Outstanding Achievement Award
Sierra Vista High School English language committee presented this award to me during my senior year of 2013-2014. The most interesting and significant thing is that at the time of getting the award I have been living in the US just for 1 year.
-
Participation in Language and Multi-culture Club
This award was given to me the same year of 2013-2014 for my valuable participation at both these claubs at Sierra Vista High School/
Goals and interests
- Career goal
The main field that interests me the most is Neuroscience. However, it is a relatively new discipline, that is why I am pursuing Psychology degree now. My main goal is to graduate from CSN and continue education in UNLV. It is a great university, where I would be able to get a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Therefore, I will continue my education as a Neurology major at the Ann Arbour University in Michigan. Education is very important for me, especially now, when I have made decisions to be a part of neuroscience community.
- Outside the classroom
Drawing and painting are my main hobbies. I have taken Drawing class at CSN recently and am planning to take Art Appreciation class during Fall semester. Another hobby of mine is poetry. However, I rarely write poems in English; the passion and muse usually "talk" to me in my first native language, Russian.
