I went back to school after starting 27 years before with a few credits collected in between, but as an older student as a young school in their day time programs, it was challenging making new friends. After awhile, I found some really great ones that were 25 years my junior and they treated me with great respect for my life lessons. I am one of those people that you either love or hate because I sit at the front of the class, prepared, and almost always know the answer to the professor's questions. Some loved that because they didn't have to be called on and could learn through osmosis and others hated it. I had a three second rule. If no on raised there hands or started talking in three seconds then I would answer the question out of respect to the teacher. Some teachers loved it or I wouldn't say hate, but wanted more of the class to participate by force. I finished my bachelor's degree in one year by taking classes constantly during that year: Fall, Mini semester Winter, Spring Mini Semester May, Summer I. and Summer II. It was grueling and then I jumped right into graduate school. My life is school right now. I hopr my fellow members can relate.
