Hi All,
I am probably one of the best people you'll ever come in contact with. Positivity is key with me, so much so, that many people often call it optimism. I'm a firm believing that all things that are meant to happen will happen. I am a person who was born and raised in Washington D.C. with a little Atlanta twist. I have been a scholar all of my life. There were times where I had taken education for granted though. The most recent is my inaugural year into Barry University. I took a lot of my resources for granted during my Freshman year. During the following school year I decided to go home and take a semester off. When I returned I came back with vengeance because I knew I had more to offer to myself as well as the University. I joined almost every club and become a integral role in many of them. Not only was I involved on campus I also began to be lot more involved in the surrounding communities. In order to really test my growth I applied to be a Resident Assistant (I had been denied a position prior to reapplying). Getting the job as an RA has taught me many things in the process. One of the main things I learned about was the importance of relationships. In life it's pivotal to have memorable moments because we're here (as people) temporarily.
Education is extremely powerful no matter what field you are in. One must obtain a certain level of knowledge in order to live. So whenever I receive opportunities that will provoke learning and knowledge I am thrilled.
I am extremely pleased to join this team/ family. I know that I will encounter some phenomenal people.
