About
After discovering that my son had a drug addiction, and the negative way his lifestyle affected his son, I vowed to make a difference. When the foundation of the family structure crumbles, the entire family suffers. Life changes for everyone who loves the person with a drug addiction decease. I have a passion, a drive to help lead families away from destructive, and hopeless lives. Our society is broken. I love people enough to devote all I can give to mend broken dreams and broken hearts. I feel such a sense of urgency. I appreciate everything I am learning, which will insure that our clients will be taken serious. This is where change takes place, it's having someone backing you up and believing in them.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My goal is to work with children, and their families at all levels. I care about social justice. I will fight as hard for the client as I fight for my own family. I believe that certain doors will open, which will eventually lead me to the place I belong. When the right door opens I will know that this is where I am supposed to be. A good start is to work with the client on changing the way they think of themselves. The client must get his power back, and gradually he will feel confident. He will learn self worth. Then he will know that he can do anything. Our responsibility is to help them open their minds, and with a new awareness that life is what we make of it. We just have to put one foot in front of the other, and support them. We need to help them keep some sort of balance, and trust that they know best what changes they must make. I will work with any population. I have trust in a higher power and in myself, and I will be awesome wherever I end up working.
- Graduate school interests
My interests consist of the amazing professor's, their willingness and determination to make sure that when we leave the university, we will be well prepared to face the real world.
Making new friends, all with the same goals. We are a small family with the same passion and drive to change the world, one person at a time.
I look forward to our study groups. Determination and confidence is contagious, and this is what helps us through the rough times.
