About
I decided to pursue Master’s in Healthcare Administration because I want to combine my hands-on healthcare experience with advanced leadership, management and systems knowledge. My professional journey managing a homecare agency, coordinating case management, and supporting patient services has shown me the critical role that effective administration plays in delivering quality care, improving patient outcomes and supporting healthcare teams.
Graduate study will allow me to strengthen my strategic planning, organizational and policy-making skills, preparing me to design systems that improve efficiency, equity and patient-centered care. I am particularly drawn to programs that emphasize leadership, healthcare policy, and operational excellence, as I aim to become a leader who can implement meaningful, sustainable changes in healthcare delivery.
Ultimately, pursuing this degree aligns with my life goal of creating healthcare environments where patients, families and staff feel supported, valued and empowered. It is not just about advancing my career, but about making a tangible difference in the quality, accessibility and efficiency of care. Graduating graduate school is the next step in equipping me to lead with compassion, innovation and impact.
