About
I am currently a principal certification student with Lamar University. I am seeking to expand my work experiences so that they will support my credentials and eventually reach my goal of school dean. I grew up, the child of an United States Air Force Officer and have traveled quite a bit. I have taught middle school mathematics for the last 12 years, and undergraduate courses online for the past 9 years. I enjoy teaching, and have aspirations to teach full time at a local university. I have a bachelor of science degree in biology/premedicine. I have a master of arts in teaching degree, and a doctorate in education leadership. Having completed my coursework, I am seeking to broaden my work experience to become more competitive and am therefore seeking a principal certification.

I am currently studying in preparation for the Principal Certification test for the state of Texas. It is my hope that such a certification will provide opportunities for me to work my way to district administration status, and eventually desire to become the dean of a college or university.
