Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career path is driven by a deep commitment to serving communities and promoting holistic health. My academic journey, from a BA in Psychology to a Masters in Public Health, is designed to give me a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, not just on an individual level, but within a community and cultural context. This educational background, combined with my extensive professional experience in coaching and my hands-on non-profit work, will allow me to design and implement public health initiatives that are both effective and empathetic. My goal is to use this knowledge to continue building community-based wellness programs, helping people find a path to health that is both sustainable and purposeful.

Volunteering
-
My volunteer work began with the founding of Mujeres Que Mueven (Women Who Move) in Aserradores, Nicaragua. My mission was to create a safe, women-only space to inspire and empower women to better self-manage their health through movement, education, and group support. In a community where access to resources is limited, we focused on providing tools to help women combat malnutrition and take a proactive role in their own well-being. Through my work, I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand how movement and holistic health education can not only change individual lives but also build a community around a core value of health. I am passionate about connecting people with the tools and knowledge they need to feel strong, capable, and in control of their own health journey.
