About
I have always loved nature and the great outdoors. Ever since being a small child I was the type to wonder off and return with some animals I had found. I also have always loved extra curricular outside the classroom. I started a club in high school and in my community college was alway an officer for either the biology club or the geo club. Now that I am at Humboldt State I am an officer for the Wildlife Society and part of the Quizbowl team. I try to keep busy, always having some volunteer work to do and I take extra classes within my interests which may not be needed for my major. I've always enjoyed taking extra field courses and they have taken me all over. I believe this has helped make me more hands on, inquiring and proactive in my learning with a more well rounded knowledge base.
