About
Greetings all,
My name is Ebony Corbin and I am a new member of this prestigious society. I'm currently enrolled at Long Beach City College, Go Vikings! As a Human Services major. This will be my last year until graduation and I'm so excited. My goal is to transfer to either CSUDH or CSUF and obtain a Bachelor's in Human Service. Ultimately, I would like to work with individuals that deal with mental health and/or have substance abuse issues. In October 2020, I was diagnosed with Lupus which changed my life drastically. I am very proud of being apart of this society because with my disorder, I am constantly in pain and exhausted and although I have had some pretty horrible days these past years, I have not let that stop my persistence and determination to keep going, doing my best, and never giving up no matter how hard things may be.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
To obtain an AA and BA in Human Services. Upon graduation and experience, I would love to open a facility for individuals that deal with mental health and substance abuse. My goal is to assist individuals with housing, job placement, completion of goals, obtaining sobriety and good health.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to transfer to either CSUDH or CSUF. I have not decided on which college I would like to go to but those two are my top choices.
