About

My family originates from Mexico in a small city named Guanajuato. My mother only received her elementary education. When I was two, my mother moved us to the United States because she wanted the best life possible for me, as well as the best education to give me greater opportunities. I was in ESL from the time I began school until 8th grade, as well as special Ed until 6th grade. School is something I have always had to do on my own due to my parents’ lack of education. And being the eldest child in my family, in my culture, requires me to set an example for my younger siblings to follow and I am trying to set it high. My dream to become a business owner in order to build my dreams instead of someone else's dream. I want to help grow my fathers business , build my own business and to create a non profit that helps young people fall in love with learning.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended pathway is to build my fathers small business, build my own business, and to create a nonprofit that evolves the youth.

Outside the classroom

My three main hobbies are running, lifting weights, and reading. I like to wake up and go for a run and lift weights to start my day . I like to read non fiction books that are about self growth, and some of my favorite books are "Life 101: Everything We Wish We Had Learned about Life in School--But Didn't " by Peter McWilliams, "Think and Grow Rich" by Nepoleon Hill , and " Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert T. Kiyosaki.
