About
My name is Eduardo Ramirez from Laredo, Texas. I chose to pursue a career in Emergency Management to better serve my community. As a father of 3 and full-time firefighter, I found WTAMU online program to continue my education. I have served my community for 20 years as a paramedic, firefighter and Ems instructor. As I continue to move up in rank in my department, I see the importance for knowledge and preparation.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I tend to continue my career with Laredo Fire Department for 10 more years and retire with 28 years of service. My goal is to promote to the position of EMS Chief. With a degree in Emergency Management I plan to apply with the a local community for the position of Emergency Manager.
