About

I am an undergraduate student at National University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education while working in the behavioral support and special education field. My professional experience includes supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities in school, home, clinic, and community settings. I am also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and an Eagle Scout. My long-term goal is to continue my education in applied behavior analysis and build a career supporting children and individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to work in applied behavior analysis and education, particularly with children and students with developmental disabilities. After completing my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I plan to continue my education in applied behavior analysis and work toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I hope to continue working in educational and behavioral support settings where I can help children develop communication, behavioral, social, and independent living skills.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis after completing my bachelor’s degree. Graduate study in ABA would allow me to build on my professional experience as a Registered Behavior Technician and prepare for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I am particularly interested in programs that focus on working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in educational and community settings.

Outside the classroom

Video game collecting, fitness, spending time with family and friends, learning about child development and behavior, and community activities.
