Goals and interests

Career goal

My goal is to be a certified OB/GYN.

Graduate school interests

Medical Schools I'm interested in include: Loma Linda University, University of Medical & Health Sciences (NY), St. George's University School of Medicine.

Outside the classroom

I am someone who loves to stay active. I find joy in spending time in nature and I love combining my joy of exercise and fresh air by hiking, swimming and honestly doing anything else that involves being outside.
Throughout Middle School and High School I was involved in band and choir. Music is very special to me and remains to be an outlet in my life.
I've recently gotten into cooking and baking more. As I am becoming more independent I have realized that a great way to save money and have more control of my health and well-being is through food. I enjoy cooking/baking and find it therapeutic.

Volunteering

  • Something that I really loved about my High School was how they encouraged community service. Every year the Senior Class has the opportunity to take a Mission Trip to serve others. Due to covid my class was unable to leave the country but we were still able to make an impact and help others. We flew to Florida and worked alongside Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a low-income family. During this week-long trip we also helped at a Women's Shelter by doing some much needed landscaping.

  • During High School I worked along side the organization as a student leader to host several Blood Drives at my school. I've continued my involvement with the Red Cross by working as a volunteer in their Biomedical services.
