About

I have many goals in life. From wanting to travel, being satisfied with my career and wanting a family, I can sometimes overwhelm myself thinking about it all. But when I take a step back, I know in my core that I was put on this earth to serve others. The field of medicine has always fascinated me and I hope to one day make my dream a reality by becoming a certified OB/GYN. By combining my love of medicine, serving others and traveling I hope to be a Missionary for women in countries living in poverty. I know it'll be a difficult journey to achieve these goals but it is one I strive to take.

Outside the classroom

I am someone who really enjoys staying active, combine that with being outside and I am already out the door. Whether it be hiking, swimming or biking I find real satisfaction in combining my love for fresh air and exercise.
Throughout middle school and high school I was a member of band and choir. Music is very dear to my heart as it has always been an outlet for me (e.i. for creativity, emotional release, etc.).
Recently I have also found a greater appreciation for cooking/baking. As I become more independent I have begun to understand the power of food. Cooking/baking your own food allows you to gain more control of your well-being. You are able to finance your life more efficiently by planning your meals which in return betters your health as you make more conscious decisions. Also, cooking/baking is a great way to debrief from the stresses of life.
