Eliya Lowe

I am enrolled in the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing Program at Nova Southeastern University. I hope to gain more understanding and knowledge about the medical field as I gain more experience in nursing school and serve my community during clinical hours. In addition, my family and I were missionaries in countries such as Brazil, El Salvador, the Bahamas, and Liberia. During the time I spent in these countries, my family and I served in underprivileged communities as part of missions work through my church. I’ve also played as a collegiate athlete for Westmont College and had a total of four surgeries during my athletic career. I am thankful for having the privilege to learn in a school athletic oriented environment, while also learning how to persevere through injuries that have shaped my character to become more determined, selfless and passionate about the things in life I want to pursue.
