About
I am currently a senior with Missouri Southern State University in the Environmental Health and Safety Program. I would like to play a role in protecting human health and the environment in any capacity I can. I am a mother to a 12 year old girl and I have been working very hard to change my career path from restaurant management to a profession in the environmental sector.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would like to have a career in land, air or water assessment to help remediate and restore the environment to conditions as healthy as possible and educate others to be good stewards of the environment.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to continue my education by continually getting certified in the area of my career choice. I will also consider moving on to a Master's degree once I have successfully gained employment in this field.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy gardening and reading in my spare time. Being outdoors is where I am most comfortable. My daughter and I spend time doing arts and crafts projects as well.
