About
From a young age, I observed my father embody the true essence of nursing. He commenced his career as a registered nurse advocating for patients and dedicating long hours with humility, compassion, and commitment. He has continued learning throughout his career in healthcare and is now a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. My decision to pursue echocardiography is rooted in admiration, experience, and a true desire to make a difference. I hope to follow in my father’s footsteps in the way he treats people and leads with integrity.
I have always had a strong desire to assist others, particularly during times when they are the most vulnerable. I want to become a sonographer because it allows me to combine compassion with clinical knowledge. I demonstrate a strong commitment to my patients and the team I work with by providing empathetic, patient-centered care. In high pressure situations, I demonstrate sound judgement and professionalism when helping patients navigate unfavorable or complex circumstances by prioritizing patient safety, dignity, and long-term recovery goals. To provide the best care for a patient, teamwork is required. I try to go above and beyond to support my colleges and foster a positive work environment by being collaborative and dependable.
In choosing echocardiography, I am choosing a profession which allows me to advocate for people in need as well as continuously grow. I am excited to become part of a profession that requires a drive to provide the best patient care possible through empathy and clinical practices.
