About
I never knew the importance of going to college until I graduate high school and didn’t have a future plan. My family didn’t talk about education and neither of my parents achieved a degree. It’s not until I congregated in a church where I am truly surrounded by people who believe in me and helped me realize that I can achieve more in life. I’ve also learned that without a degree it can be pretty hard to achieve my goals. UTA is an outstanding university where I can receive my education and also attribute many other goals in life. The open campus is very pleasant and comfortable. I know many alumni from UTA who have only positive things to say about the school and courses for Social Work. I am excited about continuing my education.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
The areas of Social Work I am interested in are varied at this moment, but I expect to develop a more focused concentration through the course of my continued education. The dignity and worth of another person is something I care strongly about no matter what the circumstance may be. I firmly agree in the protection of children, and I hope to be effective in my pursue of making sure that I protect as many children as I can from being neglected or abused. If I could help one person change their life then this job is all worth it. " I may not be able to change the world, but I can change someone's world." -Unknown
- Graduate school interests
There are many goals I hope to accomplish by attaining knowledge of social work. When I graduate from University of Arlington, I plan to go directly into the master's program. I want to continue my education and become a License Master Social Worker.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy sightseeing and visiting places to view different sceneries the world has to offer. I also enjoy dancing, reading, and listening to music.
