About
I am a mother of 4, a wife, and a Nanny (grandma). I graduated high school in 2004 from Northeastern Wayne School in Indiana. I am a licensed cosmetologist, which I earned my junior and senior year of high school. I worked in a salon for 15 years. I decided when my youngest who is now 7 went to school I was going to go back as well.
Learning is not easy for me by any means. I throughly enjoy school now as an adult. I try my best and I study hard. I do this for a few reasons. I want to be the best I can be. I believe if you’re going to do something, do it right and give it your all. I also want to be an example to my children and anyone else. I want them to see that if you want something you have to work for it and try your hardest. This is a first for me being an Honor student, and I can honestly 100% say it is a great feeling to know I have earned it!

Goals and interests

Working in the ED with psych patients as an RN.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to graduate from Ivy Tech with my ASN. After graduating I plan on working while I go to either IU EAST or Ball State to get my BSN. Long term goal is to get my masters in nursing and then go to be an NP.
One step at a time though.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies would have to include doing hair and nails on the side for the ones I’m closest to. I also enjoy the beach. I know that’s not really a hobby, but it makes me so happy. It is my zin. I also love to get creative. Make something out of nothing. I enjoy cooking and baking as well. Not just for the fact of living, but I love to present what I’ve made and make it look delicious.
