“My Motivation for Earning a Degree” I would say it starts with my beautiful daughters. Being a single mother of two, working full-time and going to school takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Having someone that looks up to you each and every day makes you work harder. Just being able to provide a better living for my children than what I had is what makes me get up every day whether I want to or not. I'm a single mother of two and it's hard trying to take care of children on your own, but I refuse to give up.
Education is very important to me even though it took me awhile to receive my first degree. Just having my Associate Degree opened up doors for me to get a better job at Halliburton. I have been at Halliburton now for a little over two years and I love my job. While working full-time I have continue to work toward my Bachelors in Business Management from Western Governors University. Continuing my education even further will help me out even more within the company or another company. There are so many opportunities that are out there. There are opportunities at Halliburton or even within a different company. Just having the education it opens so many doors to better yourself. I know once I show my determination in getting my degree and hard work that I will be able to move forward.
