About
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at American InterContinental University and am expected to graduate in July 2027. As a working adult student, I have balanced professional responsibilities, academic success, and personal growth while maintaining a strong commitment to my educational goals. My passion for technology stems from a desire to understand how systems work, solve complex problems, and help protect organizations from evolving cyber threats. I believe that education is a lifelong journey, and every course I complete brings me one step closer to building a meaningful career in technology. Through dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to continuously learn, I am preparing myself to make a positive impact in the cybersecurity field while serving as an example that it is never too late to pursue your goals.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to enter the cybersecurity industry and eventually become a Cybersecurity Analyst or Security Engineer. I am particularly interested in network security, threat detection, risk management, and protecting organizations from cyberattacks. Technology continues to shape nearly every aspect of modern life, making cybersecurity one of the most important and rapidly growing fields in the world. After graduation, I plan to gain hands-on experience through entry-level IT and security positions while pursuing industry certifications that will strengthen my technical knowledge. Long term, I hope to contribute to creating secure digital environments that protect businesses and individuals from emerging threats. I am excited about the opportunities within cybersecurity because the field combines critical thinking, continuous learning, and problem-solving—qualities that motivate me every day.
- Graduate school interests
Following completion of my bachelor's degree, I am interested in pursuing advanced studies related to cybersecurity, information assurance, cloud security, and network infrastructure. Graduate education would allow me to deepen my understanding of emerging technologies and prepare for leadership opportunities within the information technology field. I am particularly interested in learning more about cyber defense strategies, digital forensics, and enterprise security management. Continuing my education will help me stay current in an industry that evolves rapidly and requires professionals who are committed to lifelong learning.
- Outside the classroom
Outside of academics, I enjoy learning about emerging technology, cybersecurity trends, networking concepts, and computer systems. I also enjoy cooking, spending time with family and friends, exploring new skills, and finding ways to improve both personally and professionally. I am naturally curious and enjoy tackling challenges that require critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Whether I am studying new technology concepts or working toward personal goals, I believe growth comes from staying motivated, adaptable, and open to learning.
