About

I am currently a senior in high school at Providence High School in Jacksonville, Florida. although I had hearing loss as a child, I have had surgery, relearned to speak clearly, battled severe dyslexia, and worked extremely hard to earn the distinction of being part of NHS. Two years ago I left competitive golf to pursue charity work. Since then I have raised more than $10,000 for families who are adopting children. I have run small fundraisers, started and run a club at my school, and have chaired a large fundraiser by myself. I hope to oneway run a nonprofit with the same objective.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to start a nonprofit organization that helps families with the huge financial burden that comes along with adoption.

Graduate school interests

I would like to get my graduate degree in Entrepreneurship.

Outside the classroom

I qualified for the US Kid Golf Tour at 9 years old and spent most of my childhood playing in tournaments across the country. I won the Houston, World Championship qualifier, and played high school varsity golf as a middle schooler. As a sophomore in high school I started raising money for families who are adopting. That has taken over and I have since been the chair of a major charity fundraiser, started a club with the same objective and run several small fundraisers.
