About
Hi, My name is Emily Cox and I am a senior at West Genesee High School. I hope to pursue my college career at one of the many colleges I applied to. I have been active in school with mentor programs, Spanish clubs, current events and sports. I have been on the swim team and hockey team for 3 years. I also love community service with my church. I have attended church conferences and have worked with disadvantaged children in the community through several events. I am currently a lifeguard for the Town and give swim lessons to children.
I love to travel and hope to take advantage of study abroad programs. I have taken Spanish for six years and hope to travel to Spain. In studying education and geology, I hope to travel and then be able to teach.
I have a passion for hockey and have been playing since six years old. I have traveled to Canada for many tournaments and in 2015 won the Walter Gretzky tournament. In 2017, my varsity team won the honor of NY State Champions. This was a memorable moment and a great end to my hockey career. I am excited for college and the experiences that await me.

My name is Emily Cox and I go to West genes HS. I hope to attend a college of my choice in the fall of 2017.
I am ambitious and dedicated to my school work, school activities and the community. I love to travel and hope to study abroad during my four years of college. I take Spanish now and love the language and culture. Going to Spain would be a dream. I have a passion for service and love helping out the children in my community. I teach swim lessons to children, work with disadvantaged children through church let community events, and babysit as well.
I have a passion for hockey as well. I have played since I was six. I was team captain and hold the honor of NY State Champions 2017. I am proud of all my achievements and hope to continue growing in college.- Outside the classroom
