About

When I was younger I wanted to be a teacher. However I lived with a family of 6 and the youngest child slowly persuaded me to not deal with children for my career. I knew I wanted to do something that helped and I was looking into veterinary care and after starting my job in the clinic I knew that’s what I wanted to do.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope after graduating with my associates of vet technology I can start working as a veterinary technician in the clinic I currently work at. My life goal is to be a vet at a zoo.

Graduate school interests

At the end of this semester I’ll have my associates of science. Next fall I’m hoping to be accepted into Dallas colleges Vet Tech program where, if I follow the plan, I’ll graduate in 2023 with my associates of veterinary technology. After that I’d like to start my pre-vet at Texas A&M and eventually get into vet school.

Outside the classroom

I love to do art and be creative. I also love hiking and swimming in the fall.
