About

My name is Emily Warf and am currently a junior at SIUe. I grew up in a very nontraditional household. My parents have done Foster Care for 13 years, so my life has had many brothers and sisters. I wouldn't change that experience for the world because it opened my eyes to the different cultures of children growing up around me as well as teaching me how to help them cope with the circumstances life has put them through. I really love people and helping them with their life. This is why I am pursuing a career in Sociology. By learning more about peoples behaviors and how those actions affect the world around them will give me a better chance at helping many people. I am a very loving, caring, and affectionate person, but I am also very organized, practical, and fair. I want all the facts before jumping to a conclusion about a particular matter. I strive for excellence and believe everyone in life deserves a chance to be seen, heard, and believed in.
