Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to become a 1st grade teacher in my hometown or one close by. I enjoy being around young children and teaching them. Watching kids grow and learn is something I strive for.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and my family. They support me in everything I do, so it's nice to give them my undivided attention. I also enjoy reading novels, especially ones that I get to choose myself. A hobby that has gotten me through my senior and final year of high school, is singing. Choir has always been something that I have loved since the 8th grade, and it has given me an escape in the craziness of senior year. I also am really fond of writing. Writing short stories and anything that comes to my mind is such a great way for me to get my feelings out and express myself.
