About
I am a student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse studying political science and English with a minor in psychology. I am extremely passionate about politics and making a positive difference in the world around me. I hope to continue my education past my undergraduate degrees to encourage my interest in learning. I also have aspirations to travel and have the ability to understand other cultures and places around the world. I will be studying abroad for a month in Dublin, Ireland and I couldn't be more excited to branch out and begin exploring other cultures while continuing my education. I enjoy reading and writing as well as spending time with my friends and family, especially outdoors. I hope to make a difference in people's lives through my political advocacy and my writing in the near future as well as throughout my life.

In high school I was inducted into national honor society and my senior year I served as Vice President of my school's organization.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
After graduation, I intend to go into campaign work to become more immersed into the real world of state and federal government. I think my communication skills would suit me well in a press secretary position and I intend to follow that path as well as possible journalism in order to advance in the industry. I would like to focus my political efforts on environmental efforts as well as social justice issues. While I have many large aspirations for my career in the future, my main goal will always be to make a difference in the lives of everyday people and make America a better place.
- Graduate school interests
I don't have any particular graduate school interests at this time. I had previously planned on going to grad school for journalism but recently have decided that it would suit me better to go straight into the work force after graduation. However, I love learning and will always leave the option of grad school open. I can definitely see myself going to grad school in the future whether it be a few years after graduation or many years after.
