I am a retired athlete and used to be a competitive swimmer. I still do lots of lap swimming and workouts, exercise is an ingrained hobby of mine. I love to cook and bake, it allows me to connect with my culture. In addition I'm a big artist. I like to explore all mediums and try new things. Writing is very personal to me and I really enjoy writing poetry. I recently submitted one of my poems to a writing competition and placed in the top 100 nationally.
