About
Gratitude has shaped my journey. I am profoundly thankful for the loved ones in my life whose acts of kindness and sacrifices have given me opportunities to thrive. Their unwavering support has instilled in me the importance of paying it forward—a principle that has become the foundation of my character.
In this spirit, I founded the Annual Royal Ball, an event where children dress up as princesses and princes, raising toys and funds for Santa and Mrs. C’s Kids, a program supporting families in need during the holiday season. In our inaugural event, we collected over 100 toys and raised more than $1,000, bringing joy to those who needed it most. This initiative represents my deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in my community.
My dedication to service extends beyond this event. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 1,000 hours, teaching faith formation, assisting organizations like the Washington Pavilion and South Dakota Safety House, and organizing fundraisers like the Kobe Strong Cancer Drive, which raised over $4,000. These experiences have shown me the value of compassion, community service, and taking initiative to drive change.
Academics and leadership have also shaped my identity. As a National Honor Society member and FCCLA Vice President, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor others, lead projects, and uphold the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I am a presidential academic award recipient, a top-three student in my class, and a dedicated leader in my school and community. These achievements reflect my commitment to excellence and my determination to inspire those around me.
As I prepare to major in biology and pursue a pre-medical track, I am driven by a passion for medical research and the potential to make a lasting impact. I look forward to participating in the annual summer Mount Marty STEM program, where I will gain hands-on experience and explore possible career paths in science and medicine.
Gratitude, leadership, and service define who I am. Through every project I lead, every hour I volunteer, and every goal I set, I honor the sacrifices of those who have supported me. My mission is to pay it forward—uplifting others as I build a future where I can contribute to my community and advance the field of medicine.
