About

Academically, I am a dedicated and motivated student, currently ranked first in my class with a perfect 4.0 GPA. For the past three years, I have been taking College Credit Plus classes through Kent State University, allowing me to challenge myself with college-level coursework while still in high school. Throughout this time, I have balanced rigorous academics with at least one part-time job year-round. I have worked at a local food truck for three years, which has taught me responsibility, teamwork, and time-management skills. During the summer, I also work a second job as a cart girl at a local golf course. I participate in Varsity golf, where I have competed for four years, and I am involved in other interests such as Yearbook Club and the Student Engagement Club, which allow me to develop my leadership skills. I am also the secretary of my chapter of the National Honor Society, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence, character, and community involvement. I attended the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar as an ambassador my Sophomore year and have continued volunteering with the organization since then. I will be graduating this May from United Local High School, and I take pride in my ability to manage my time effectively while maintaining high academic standards and meaningful extracurricular involvement. My plan is to continue my education by commuting to Kent State University's Salem campus in the fall, which is about twenty minutes from my home, to pursue a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Commuting will allow me to save money, and because finances can be stressful, I truly appreciate every scholarship opportunity I can get. I am extremely thankful for websites like Honorsociety.org, which provide valuable scholarship opportunities for students like me to help achieve our academic and career goals.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I plan to pursue a career in early childhood education because I enjoy working with young children and want to help create a positive, supportive environment during their most important developmental years.

Outside the classroom

In my free time, I enjoy golf, reading, crafting, and being outdoors. I love hanging out with friends and family, discovering new hobbies, and spending time with my adorable dogs, Boo and Beans. I've also recently started playing the harmonica, which has been a fun new challenge and creative outlet!
