About
A dedicated and accomplished individual with a strong academic background and diverse professional experience in biomedical engineering. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Binghamton University, expecting to graduate in May 2026. My academic journey has equipped me with expertise in bioimaging, advanced biomaterials, biomechanics, and biomedical devices. I possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and MATLAB, as well as laboratory techniques like cell culture and pipetting. I hold certifications in Initial Biosafety Training and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, demonstrating my commitment to safety and compliance in scientific research. My project experience highlights my ability to apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems. Notable projects include a CT MATLAB study where I implemented reconstruction algorithms to improve medical imaging quality, research on AI integration in healthcare to optimize glioma grading and robotic-assisted surgery, and investigations into personalized cancer immunotherapy strategies using advanced bioinformatics tools and innovative delivery systems. I am actively involved in leadership and community engagement. I am a member of organizations such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Cancer Society, and the National Society of Black Engineers. I participate in events like Relay for Life to raise funds for cancer research and treatments, and I engage in technical training sessions with industry leaders. I volunteer with the Center for Civic Engagement, assisting senior living centers and preparing camps for children to ensure their safety in challenging environments.
