Eric Walther

I have always wanted to go back to school to earn this degree. I want to be able to help people one on one on a deep level. The pain and sadness in the world is despicable, and it has created in me a desire to leave the world a little bit better than I found it. Becoming a mental health counselor will allow me to make an impact in the lives of many.

I am interested in attending the conferences held in the field. I plan to join the American Counseling Association and attend as many events as possible during my studies. Once I graduate and obtain my certificate as an Licensed Professional Counselor, I plan to work in the state of Texas and continue my education pursing a doctorate.

Spending time with family and friends. I love stories whether they come from books, or movies, or told by a loved one. Playing board games, watching movies and playing ice hockey, are some of my favorite activities.
