I am a strategic, patient-service oriented healthcare professional who is focused on outreach, relationship development, quality assurance and process improvement. I leverage my skills as a guest service manager and my education in public relations to ensure a high quality standard of care for patients while focusing on outreach and relationship development.
Currently I manage a team of interpreters for U of U Health and use my extensive experience in customer service management to build and maintain the relationships between our department and the 12 community clinics operated by U of U Health. I am exploring a greater interest in the fields of outreach and process improvement in healthcare, including initiatives with telehealth and expanding my education of value culture, six-sigma methodology, quality improvement and healthcare HR.
I assist community clinics and hospital leadership in an effort to provide virtual care to patients with limited English proficiency and have developed a contact center as well as provided training to multiple levels of clinical staff and management for telehealth platforms.
I am passionate about building relationships that will facilitate a quality standard of care and bring about process improvements to improve patient experience.
I am also a professional pianist with a wealth of experience playing at events and volunteering in hospital settings. I believe in the healing power of music.
