About
I have always chosen challenging courses and have an excellent academic record. In addition to this, I have done an extensive amount of volunteer work and take pride in giving back to my community that has given so much to me. Working in retail has also played a large role in shaping who I am and how I communicate with people from all walks of life. Being a part of Spanish club, DECA, and BETA in my high school years has allowed me to further connect with my community and challenge myself with public speaking and club management in order to develop my real-world skills. Currently, I am working hard to allocate scholarship money to pay for my schooling and integrate myself into the college life by joining UNG's Honor Program, Biology Club, and more!

Clearly, I would like to be a biomedical engineer; however, I have not chosen specifically what I would like to focus on as of yet. I'm interested in prosthetics on one hand and on the other organ/ tissue growth and development. I will most likely hone in on one of the two as I continue my college education.
