About

I have more than 10 years of experience in the medical field, providing care to the elderly and disabled (in skilled and non-skilled facilities). While I was taking classes at my community college (Pima Community College) for career development, I realized that art was my passion and decided to make a drastic career change. I received my Associates of Fine Arts-Visual Arts with a GPA of 3.9 in the spring of 2022. I then transferred to the school of Arts at the University of Arizona and was accepted under W.A. Franke Honors College. I am currently working on my Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in drawing and painting with a GPA of 4.0.

Goals and interests

Career goal

After receiving my Bachelors of Fine Arts, I intend to pursue my dream of becoming a leader of an arts organization. I would like to give back to the community by auctioning art in special events for non-profit organizations and to create a platform that will give emerging artists the opportunity to display their artwork by participating. I am currently working together with the Alzheimer's Association to create a future event for December 2nd of 2023 to honor their supporters and to bring awareness to our community; additionally, to give students from the University of Arizona (including myself) the opportunity to exhibit our artwork

Outside the classroom

I enjoy dressing up and attending local gallery shows and museums. When possible, I go camping and fishing.
