Honors and awards
-
Metro Scholars Award
This award was given to me on behalf of Metropolitan State University of Denver for my academic achievements.
-
Metro Summer Bridge Program
Metro chose students to participate in a summer program. I had to take two summer classes and get a 3.5 or higher for the semester and they awarded me $2,000. I was also required to meet with teachers to discuss interests and classes.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
For all of my life I've dreamed of being a lawyer. My passion is helping people. I want to specialize in helping woman and men that are victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. I would like to become a prosecutor. Being a prosecutor will allow me to put criminals away, but also give me discretion to ensure that charges are appropriate for the crimes committed. While I strive to put violent criminals in jail, I also want to reduce the prison population in America by being able to appropriately charge non-violent offenders. After that, I would love to become a judge. All in the state of California.
- Graduate school interests
After I graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver I would like to go to law school. Ideally I want to attend a law school in California.
