- Outside the classroom
Outside of my professional life, I am a dedicated creative person, who finds balance through narrative writing, oil/acrylic painting, and baking. I am also an avid reader, which helps me stay curious and informed across various subjects. I’m a big believer in creative outlets to stay sharp and not have a mundane way of thinking. Because I enjoy creative writing and painting, it helps me approach problem-solving with a fresh perspective.

Dedicated Animal Welfare Specialist focused on driving adoption rates through public education and compassionate care. Expertly managed post-operative recovery monitoring, behavioral enrichment, and daily husbandry to ensure optimal animal well-being and successful placement in forever homes. Done out of the curiosity and desire to learn and care more for animals, I was very passionate about connecting shelter animals with loving families. My work bridged the gap between clinical care, supporting animals through sensitive post-surgical recovery, as well as ensuring community outreach, where I advocated for responsible adoption and provide the enrichment animals need to thrive during their transition.
