Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently working as a Registered Nurse at Baylor University Medical Center on the High Risk OB unit. Within 2 years of graduation, I have moved into a charge nurse role. I have fallen in love with my role as a nurse and can't wait to take the next step into graduate school!
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in attending a Family Nurse Practitioner Program. I feel like there are so many avenues for Nurse Practitioners and I can't wait to see where this path leads!
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy the arts. Specifically, I paint and sketch. I also love to sing, having been involved in choir throughout high school. I would love to one day join a local choir for my own fulfillment. I am learning archery and absolutely love being outdoors, from romping around on the farm to hunting and fishing. I am a lover of documentaries and could spend hours learning about topics from the latest healthcare advances to the newest dinosaur discovery. I enjoy reading a good book, getting lost in my own imagination.
