About
I am a senior at Clemson University in the Health Science program, and will be earning a BS in Health Promotion and Education when I graduate in 2015. I transferred to Clemson University from Greenville Technical College, where I took classes and then earned my certificate as a personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I worked as a trainer at Gold's Gym in Central, SC for about a year, then my focus had to be geared more towards schooling. I also worked in the Country Club at Keowee Key for three years before, and two years after quitting at Gold's Gym. While employed at the Country Club I went from being a hostess, to an administrative assistant, as well as a servers assistant, then finally a server for the night shift. After being there for a little over five years, school began to be more of a priority so I had to focus more on that and less on work. Through my schooling at Clemson University I have matured so much mentally; things that used to be boring are now sparking my interest more than ever! I have found a love for helping people achieve their overall health through eating habits as well as physical activity. I hope to someday share my talents and abilities with those throughout my community and help them find their way to a healthier lifestyle.
