I am currently studying to join the world of Interior Designers. I was born in Suceava, Romania. I lived there for a short time and have some memory as to how it was there. My parents moved with all of my brothers, sisters and I to America when I was just five. I feel blessed to have been able to have parents that were both so hardworking. My father was a bricklayer and my Mom was a stay at home Mom here in America. My father was a refugee from our country. He ran out of the country for being persecuted for his religion. Romania was communist and orthodox at the time and anything else was like committing treason. I look at him as a brave and heroic man and I appreciate him very much. My father risked his life to find a country to place his family for a better life and opportunity and worked into the night to see that we got just that. An opportunity. Now I am a parent of five children and I look at my parents for inspiration and motivation to get me threw school and being a parent. I want to be the same for my children as my parents were for me; an example of hard work and great value for my children to be able to look up to me and say, "That is who I want to be when I grow up". I look to take all of this ambition to the Interior design industry and create just a bit more beauty in an ugly world. I have always been artistically talented since I was a little girl. I finished high school in 2002 and went to being a Dental Assistant the next year. I worked as an Assistant for almost 9 years. I had always wanted to do Interior design it just seemed like I am more ready now then I would have been earlier in my life.
