About
Hi! My name is Evan Anderson, I'm a double major in electrical and computer engineering and computer science at Oregon State university. I graduated from Davis Senior High School in June 2014. I'm an ex-competitive tennis player and am involved in archery club at OSU. My primary interests are in designing computer hardware and custom software applications. My hobbies include running servers for games, VoIP, IRC, FTP, and Bitcoin. My goal is to design a computer that works differently on a fundamental level than computers and processing units today.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I'm interested in working for a computer technology company designing hardware or software, I'm interested in both paths. Currently I run servers and mine Bitcoins as my primary occupations.
- Graduate school interests
I'm interested in pursuing an MBA in electrical engineering or computer science, depending on the job opportunities I have during my time as an undergraduate. I'm interested in doing research as a graduate student, although as of now I have no specific plans.
- Outside the classroom
I love playing sports. I'm a competitive tennis player, but I love snowboarding, jet-skiing, paintball, and archery for fun. I spend a lot of my free time reading and studying, and in the evenings I develop my Bitcoin mining algorithm that I've been working on for over a year. I love teaching myself new things, primarily through experience. I prefer to work hands-on work, especially with other people. Whether it's playing doubles in tennis or working in a lab with a partner, I love working with others and learning from them as well as sharing what I've learned as well.
